Dear Admin, thank you very much for posting the new firmware. The specs appeared to be very similar to that of your latest Onda 972 firmware. Are there any different features between the two?

Thanks

I have no idea about the hardware difference, but I don't think you can use one tablet firmware on the other.

Cheers.

Dear Admin, the version 3.2 you had posted for Onda 972v1 works really well. I hope you can made a version of the same for the Nova 9 as well. Thanks a lot for your hard work.

This is great, thank you VERY much :-)

Can you use this tutorial to flash back to stock for major updates or is there something else needed also? I just got my Novo and am learning the ropes. Cheers :)

Though the above ROM was stable & improved a lot of functions, ROM released by Christian Troy in arctablet.com lead my Ainol to the next level.

So far, that was the best ROM for Ainol Spark.

I installed it and everything works great wich i am, being an absolute newbie, very grateful for. There is only one thing that bothers me; browsing the internet is horrible because touching the screen slightly with just one finger results in a chain reaction of fast zooming in and out, like the screen is just to sensitive. Is there a solution for this problem?

Cheers and thanx for everything!

Thanx for the fast reply. Appreciated.

I hope i can get it to work. I never flashed a zip file before so i will have to carefully read the right topics to find out how to do it. Can i use this on my current firmware (with the kasty-root installed) or will it only work with the custom firmware you mentioned?

Carefully read the steps on the forum.

1. First install the latest ROM SDK (3.2) using phonix suite.

2. Install twrp latest (2.6)

3. recover using the custom rom provided by christian troy. (you can add more zips during recovery, so you can add touchscreen zip after the custom rom while flashing)

So you need to download the following files

1. Latest Stock ROM (Keep it in PC for flashing using Phonix suite)

2. Latest twrp (copy it in Internal memory / sdcard)

3. Custom ROM by Christian troy(copy it in Internal memory / sdcard)

4. zip for fixing the touch screen,(copy it in Internal memory / sdcard)

Video link is available, check that. Don't miss any critical steps.

Awesome! You are making things so much easier for me. I think this will be no problem, thanks to you. 1 question: Where do i find the latest stock ROM? I looked through the topics and also checked the Ainol support site. Am i missing something?

Thanx again for all your help!

*edit* Nevermind, i think i got it. :-) I will let you know if all went well.

*edit* Darn, i thought i got it but i didn't. So the question remains the same; where can i find the latest stock ROM?

*final edit* It works! It took me a while to find the latest stock ROM but i found it and did everything like you said.

You rule! Me happy. :-)
