The first Hudl was one of the best budget tablets you could by in the UK last year and today, Tesco announced its successor which will go on sale on 9th of October. The new Hudl got a slightly bigger screen, better specifications and an updated Android version, but sells at just 10£ more than the original Hudl. Just like last year, you can make part payment in Clubcard vouchers and only pay £65 for the tablet. Hudl 2 also comes with £60 of vouchers in the box.
The Tesco Hudl 2 features an 8.3″ 1080p IPS screen resulting in a pixel density of 272ppi. The Hudl 2 also packs an 1.83GHz Intel Atom quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM, dual cameras, 16GB of flash storage and Android 4.4. While the battery capacity is not known for now, the Hudl 2 should survive eight hours on a single charge.
Another thing, the Hudl 2 will be available in eight different colors – Jazzy Blue, Zesty Orange, Slate Black, Rocket Red, Tropical Turquoise, Dreamy White, Perky Purple and Bubblegum Pink. And for your children to play with it safely, the Hudl 2 comes with Parental filter and controls.
