Following the release of the P1 tablet in June, Pipo now officially launched the P4 and P9 models, both also running on Rockchip RK3288 CPU. The two models were already shown in Hong-Kong a month ago, but now there is more information given away about the technical specifications.
To start with the P9, it is an upgrade of the M9 Pro tablet which was released last year running on RK3188 CPU and became one of the popular tablets on Arctablet forums. The P9 features an 10.1 inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 8 Mpx camera on the back(2 Mpx on the front) and runs on Android 4.2 out of the box. No worries, a KitKat update should be available soon. To power everything, there is an 7600 mAh battery inside.
The P4 is a RK3288 version of the T9 tablet which was released a few months ago with an Octa Core MTK 5292 CPU. The P4 also comes with 1.8 Ghz RK3288 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8.9 inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and the same 2.0/8.0 Mpx cameras. Just like the P9, it runs on Android 4.2, but the KitKat update should not be to far away.
