ARCHOS ArcBook, an Android netbook coming in June

ARCHOS has just unveiled the ArcBook, a netbook equipped with a 10.1″ tactile display, a full QWERTY keyboard and trackpad, it will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and should be available in June for 149.99€ / £139.99.
The netbook will include a microSD card slot to expand the internal 8 GB flash memory storage, a front camera will be included as well a full size USB OTG port to connect external peripherals. With a 8000 mAh battery, ARCHOS gives the netbook a battery life “over 9 hours of productivity”. The ArcBook will be Google certified and ship with Office Suite Pro 6 premium version.

With such an aggressive pricing, the ArcBook offers a low-end configuration with a basic dual-core processor (Rockchip RK3168) and a low resolution display (1024×600, probably non IPS) These are too limited to gaming or heavy usage but should be enough for office and productivity tasks. We will see next month !
