Archos 97 Xenon passes FCC, says hello to the United States.

A few weeks ago we announced the existence of the 97 Xenon, along with some details. Now this, what we believe is a RK30-powered 9,7″ IPS tablet, has passed the FCC. Anything new? The volume buttons are still on the same spot as on our blurry product image. There seems to be a metal frame around the tablet and just like on the 97 Carbon, there looks to be a camera on the back side.

The FCC is informing us that more details will be available end of October and we expect the 97 Xenon to be launched before the Cobalt tablets. Pretty soon, actually.
