Android 4.4 KitKat update for Onda quad-core tablets coming this month


According to their manufacturer, Onda tablets based on quad-core Allwinner A31/A31s processors should receive an Android 4.4 (KitKat) update in the coming weeks. Among many features enhancements, latest Android 4.4 also improves memory management and tablet performance for devices with limited memory, that should be a good opporunity for Allwinner A31S machines equipped by 1 GB of RAM.


Onda actually started to deploy a preview update for their Onda V819 tablet

This firmware offers latest Android 4.4 (KRT16S), fingerprints are:
