Paris Android User Group (PAUG) next conference will be held near Paris, on Wednesday 26th October, 2011 at 7:30PM and will deal about Android porting. The two invited companies Archos and Parrot will present how they ported and adaptated Android OS to their devices.
Parrot is the maker of great (bluetooth) hands-free systems, Asteroid, the first Android car stereo and AR.Drone, a video equipped remote controlled (by wifi) quadricopter with camera.
Conference speakers:

The conference will be hosted at Epita, renowned french Graduate School of Computer Science and Advanced Technologies.
