- First, you need to download and install ArcTools
- Start ArcTools
- Go to Media Tab
- Browse your device storage folders. You can go in a directory by clicking on it
- For any folder you don’t want Images/Audio/Video/Any media  indexed, click on the appropriate button in the back of the screen
- The clicked button should green on selected item Image/Audio/Video/Media
- The setting will be valid for the selected directory and all the children directories, for instance Selecting (button turned green) Media for /storage will completely disable indexing on your storage area (internal and sdcard) for your device

why it create “.nomedia” folder?
i think it should create file, not folder..

The new release is available on this web site, but is not deployed to Appslib yet, need to wait until Monday.
anyway, “better viewer” seems a more reliable alternative for massive image collections… it’s a comic viewer but it can read images or archives of them, a lot better than scanning thousand of single files…
