You can reflash your device using the firmware in described in this article or go the generic firmware page.
Use Rockchip flashing tool to send the firmware to the tablet.
As a beginner at this – how can I tell I have installed new firmware? Have I just downloaded it and not installed it? No message on screen.
You probably have copied the firmware to the wrong place, it should be in the root directory when the drive is mounted on your computer.
No I’ve updates these devices before (arnova and archos) and I always put the update in the root directory.
all through I’m not having too many problems with the reduced ram it’s just odd that I’ve lost almost half of it. :S
tell me how locate the root directory please where is it
Hmmmm, after doing this update and after reinstaling my apps I notest the usable ram has gone down from 512mb to 278mb ?????
whats going on here.
other then that the update has probably increased performance by 35% from my tests. 🙂
Finally some release notes. Checked and they’re providing it for the other firmwares as well.
