The Arnova 10b G2 popped up on Arnova web site a few weeks ago, it is now starting to be available in some Europe countries (Spain and Poland reported so far).
This Arnova 10b G2 model is supposed to be a variant of the Arnova 10 G2 with a Rockchip 2918 CPU, Android 2.3, 512 Mb RAM, there should be 2 models available: one with a resistive another one with a capacitive screen. The device case is still in full plastic, it has a more rounded angles than previous products, the full size USB port from the Arnova 10 G2 has left and the device only has a single micro USB port.
Our forum user Aioros has posted pictures and a video of the device, thanks to him 😉
It looks like the screen has acceptable viewing angles and it seems a little different than the one on the Arnova 10 G2 (no diagonal lines on the surface)
I saw these in Hong Kong too. I think I’m going to stick with my 10 G2, I really don’t want to give up the convenience of the full size USB port. I just wish I could find a case that would fit the darn thing 🙂
Hello Tim,
You may want to have a look in our forum: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arnova-10-g2/case-for-arnova-10-g2/
These have been selling at £119 in the UK, however most stores have pulled them to due numerous returns/complaints caused by the OS (2.1) going into continual loop within a matter of days.
Aren’t you mistaking with the Arnova 10b (first generation) ? The Arnova 10b G2 is supposed to run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
