Archos CEO comments about Archos projects for 2012: thinner tablets, TV , robot, home automation




Henri Crohas, Archos founder and CEO was invited on BFM Radio (french station dealing on economy) in “Le Business Club de France”, Michel Picot talk show on Saturday 10 of December 2011 at 10:00 PM, Paris time (GMT+2).

Henri Crohas gave some details on Archos projects for 2012:

  • thinner tablets, Archos hopes to offer the world finest tablets 7 millimeters thick
  • tablet with a docking keyboard (Asus Transformer like) with a special focus on thickness, about 11 millimeters for the tablet with the keyboard attached
  • child size robot for domestic usage and affordable price (between 200 and 300 euros), no more details given about the exact robot use
  • a new style of remote control to bring Android to the TV
  • home automation functions on all new tablets
