Archos firmware update 2.1.4 released for Gen8 devices (Archos 28/32/43/70/101)

Google Market is still working on this firmware. Tested on an Archos 70 after a Reset Android procedure and ArcTools 0.43 installation (downloaded from Appslib).


Archangel rooting method still works on this firmware.

  1. I downloaded and installed the 2.1 firmware listed, and it bricked my tablet but about two weeks later, it is now in a loop of rebooting. It will not stay connected to my laptop long enough to try and reimage it. Doing a – and power button only gets me a white screen & reboot.

    HELP!

  2. I just got Archangel Root on my Archos 28 , and it added Superuser and I have no Idea what they are and how to use them . I am just trying to make my tablet work the best it can . and I like to play around with tech. trying to learn all I can about new things . is it harmfull to it and how can it help it work better ????????
